Ventilux, the Irish-owned family-run emergency lighting manufacturer, is celebrating its 30th anniversary year with a move to larger premises at Bray IDA Business Park on the Southern Cross Road later this year.
The new 30,000sqft premises are more than twice the size of the company’s previous base and provide an up-to-date manufacturing facility in keeping with the needs of this progressive company. The relocation is part of the Ventilux’s forward-thinking attitude and will help it service its wide-ranging client base in an even more efficient way. These new facilities will also complement the company’s UK operations, which are headed up by Barrie Walsh.
Ventilux was established in 1986, initially supplying central battery systems and bespoke emergency lighting products to the marketplace. In 1989, the company employed 23 members of staff and moved to new premises in Dun Laoghaire, via temporary offices in Pearse Street, Dublin. Today, Ventilux exports market-leading products all across the world.
“Our major markets include Ireland, UK, Dubai, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, to name a few,” said Brendan Walsh, Chairman and Group Managing Director. “We are very proud of this 30-year milestone and we attribute it to two key factors,” he continued. “Firstly, we owe it to our clients and customers, who trusted in us to provide immaculate services and products. Their demands, challenges and feedback have pushed us to improve every aspect of our business vigorously. We are truly grateful and thank them all for their support and loyalty.
“Secondly, without the dedication and hard work of our excellent team this would never have been achievable. The company now consists of 85 members with a combined experience of over 800 years!
“We plan to keep our business and relationships growing with our customers, and continue to provide them with nothing less than the best. With their support, we wish to explore new heights. Once again we would like to thank everyone, and here’s to another 30 years!”
