Around 350 people from right across the industry turned out for the event which was hosted by Electrical Magazine.
The event was compered by broadcaster, Claire McCollum with the ever-popular May McFettridge providing her own brand of outrageous comedy.
Electrical Magazine Editor, John Hooks welcomed everyone to the awards ceremony and paid tribute to the evening’s sponsors, especially headline sponsor, the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS).
Speaking at the awards ceremony John said: “This industry is very supportive of our magazine, so on behalf of everyone at Electrical Magazine, can I thank you all for your continuing support.
“It’s fitting that we are able to host events like this. Northern Ireland’s Electrical Awards are a celebration of the excellence which runs throughout this industry – from apprentices starting out on their careers to people at the very top of their game pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence to those who have given a lifetime’s service.
“It really is a pleasure for us to be able to award the top performers in our industry.
“One of the toughest jobs in preparing for tonight’s ceremony fell to our independent judges. The calibre of entries was excellent and it certainly was as tough job in many categories singling out a winner. But I witnessed first-hand the professionalism and level of scrutiny they brought to each entry – every application form was dissected and I can tell you, if you are a winner tonight, you thoroughly deserve the accolade.
