The Castledermot branch will complement National’s existing Naas branch, and will be the group’s seventh branch in Ireland and its 17th branch in Ireland and the UK.
Open to both trade and public, the new store, at 18 Main Street, Castledermot, was officially opened on August 20 by Ireland, Lions and Leinster rugby star, Sean O’Brien.
“We were honoured to have our local hero, Sean O’Brien officially open the store for us,” said Manager, Larry Malone. “It was a great day and was attended by members of the public as well as trade, with plenty of refreshments, raffle prizes and special offers on the day.”
