Ease of access, a nationwide backed stock holding resource and exemplary customer care are the key drivers behind the successful launch of Kellihers Electrical’s new Celbridge branch in the M4 Business Park, County Kildare.
Kellihers Electrical’s nationwide network of branches forms the bedrock of the business and is a critical part of what makes them Ireland’s top performing electrical wholesaler.
Brian Sugrue, Marketing Manager says, “Our branches allow us to connect with our customers at a local level, bringing our local-business ethos and unwavering commitment to unmatched customer service. This new Celbridge Branch will help us strengthen our position in the electrical wholesale market in Ireland, but more importantly helps us bring outstanding local service to even more of our customers”.
The 3,000+sq ft Celbridge premises stocks over 2,000 SKUs of quality products such as leading-edge LED lighting, wiring accessories, cable, power control, heating, data and energy solutions. Extra benefits include free lighting audits and advice from dedicated lighting solar PV, EV and data specialists.
Karl Corcoran, Branch Manager at Kellihers Electrical Celbridge says, “Being part of a larger branch network of 23 branches helps us have access to stock even if we don’t have it on the shelf.”
Karl prides himself on excellent customer service, supported by staff members Seamus Russell and Arran Hayward who strive to make sure that the customers’ needs are met.
“Having the right stock for our customers means they receive top class service every single day, with orders delivered on site when they need it, six days a week.”
The new branch is situated just off the M4 in the business park behind the Applegreen Service Station. Opening hours are 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 12 pm on a Saturday. Closed on Sunday.
Kellihers Electrical are a local Irish business with all the benefits and reassurances that come with being part of a truly global electrical product supply group. They take real pride in their ability to meet the needs of the major industry players as well as the smallest electrical contractor and everyone else in-between.
Since 2006, Kellihers have been part of the Rexel Group, a global leader in the distribution of electrical supplies and services. The Group operates in 26 countries, with a network of some 2,000 branches, and employs over 27,000 people. Rexel’s sales were €13.74 billion in 2019.
The Celbridge addition to the Kellihers family is going down well with the local trade, says Karl. “The overall feedback has been positive. Customers really appreciate the convenient location just off the M4 where they can easily access gear for their job. But, we’re always looking to improve and welcome all feedback from customers.”
Business at the Celbridge branch took off when construction got back on its feet after the first lockdown and they’re continuing to service their loyal customer base during the second lockdown.
“As our doors are just opened, our initial plan is to service our existing customer base and hopefully expand on this and attract new customers into our branch. We’d like to thank our existing customers for their support, which has been greatly appreciated as we find our feet in Celbridge.”
If you’re looking to stock up on electrical gear pop in and chat to the Celbridge lads. Their doors are open six days a week and they’d be more than happy to help.
