This will be a follow up to the IEBA’s race meeting fundraiser that was held on April 10 and was, by all accounts, a huge success.
Over 170 people from the electrical industry attended the Sunday Ballysax Stakes in Leopardstown with representatives from the contracting side, manufacturing, distribution and wholesale enjoying the fine weather and delicious menu on the day.
The day was hosted by CEO of Philips Ireland and IEBA President, Cel O’Reilly. Nearly €8,000 was raised during the event for the IEBA – vital funds which will go towards continuing the good work the Association is involved in. Founded in 2001, the IEBA has been active in helping many members of the electrical industry and their families who have experienced difficulties with, for example, bereavement, depression, terminal illness, accidental death, special treatments or retraining.
