We were also honoured to secure the contracts for prominent structures such as the Obel Tower, home of Allen & Ovary, the tallest building on the island of Ireland. Our enduring partnership with Boojum restaurants, which spans across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, stands as a testament to our ability to meet and manage the fire and security requirements of our clients.”
Another proud moment for the Newtownards firm was reaching the finalist stage in the Specialist Contractor category in Northern Ireland’s Electrical Awards 2023.
Even during challenging times, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, SR Fire and Security achieved significant milestones. “We welcomed Antrim and Newtownabbey Council as a client, which was a significant milestone in our journey,’ said Connor. “Additionally, we formed new partnerships with organisations such as Habinteg Housing and Goldsmiths, while continuing to nurture our longstanding relationship with McQuillans Companies.”
Remaining at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies in the fire protection and security sector is of paramount importance to SR Fire and Security, admitted Connor. “To accomplish this, we have fostered strong relationships with our suppliers, ensuring constant communication and engagement. Attending industry shows, exhibitions and manufacturing roadshows further enables us to stay ahead of the curve. Additionally, we regularly organise training sessions for our staff, with suppliers often conducting comprehensive workshops for our engineers.
