The ECI Group has announced the appointment of Gary Dwyer as Group Managing Director.
Since joining ECI in 1997, Gary has held the role of Finance Director for many years. During this time, while managing the company’s finances Gary also developed a broad set of commercial skills, and his knowledge and experience in the industry places him perfectly to now take on the responsibilities of this new challenge.

As a result of Gary’s promotion, Mark Smith, who has been with ECI since 2017 as our Management Accountant, will now take up the position of Financial Controller.

While I will continue to stay close to most matters financial in the business, I will be passing down many of the responsibilities I have held dear for too many years now to the very capable Mark Smith. ECI Lighting celebrated being in business 60 years last year and pride itself on keeping ahead of the curve so they will last another 60. There are lots of exciting and new opportunities being explored at ECI Group which will improve the business and its offerings.
During a tough last year and a half for the construction industry, the ECI Group has continued to grow, most recently with ECI Energy’s investment in Acutrace Ltd, an energy measurement software company, which will allow the ECI Group to offer additional energy saving solutions to its clients.
