‘A world of difference’ with Atlas

With over 30 years in the fire and security industry, the company is a highly respected name within this competitive marketplace. But the company’s ambitions have also grown beyond this sector, hence the rebranding as Atlas alongside new branding and a new website.

John Nesbitt, Managing Director, explained, “We’ve grown beyond all recognition from our early days, and this rebranding is a better reflection of our overall service offering. While fire and security is still central to the business, through natural growth and strategic acquisitions we are now centrally involved in the audio-visual, energy management and maintenance sectors. So calling ourselves Atlas Fire & Security really doesn’t do the company justice and, even though we created the separate brands of Atlas AV and Atlas Energy, many of our customers – and potential customers – didn’t realise the holistic service we can provide across all these specialisms. This rebranding will change this.”

But the rebranding – carried out by Positive Design – has been about much more than creating a new logo. The overall process has streamlined how Atlas operates internally, enhancing an already award-winning service to ensure the company lives up to its new ‘World of Difference’ maxim.

Robert Creagmile, Sales and Marketing Director, added, “We are now more streamlined in our approach and rather than operating as three separate entities offering separate services, we are now highlighting the success of the collective approach we can offer.

“In many instances we will continue to offer each service independently, but now customers will be more in tune with our overall provision, allowing them to work with us on other specialisms such as AV or energy. This has already led to us being specified as a Tier 1 supplier on many projects, and is an area that we will be expanding into further.”

The Atlas expansion of the company, however, is not a case of ignoring the company’s long-standing customers.

“We recognise where we came from, and for customers who have been on the journey with us, we want to assure them that they will continue to receive the same high standards of service,” added Robert. “We work with companies of varying sizes – from small businesses to major health estates – but we view them all as equally important. As we continue to grow in Northern Ireland and across Great Britain, Ireland and beyond, we will do so by continuing to support the many businesses who have helped us become the company we are.”

That is where the new ‘World of Difference’ maxim comes in along with the other taglines of ‘Protecting your World’; ‘Maintaining your World’; ‘Sustaining your World’; and ‘Connecting your World’.

Robert concluded, “It doesn’t matter if it is a small office or a multi-building site, to each customer, their business is ‘their world’. We understand the importance of this and this is the basis of how we approach our work.

“Our vast experience on projects of all sizes makes the difference but just as important is our ability to tailor solutions to meet the exacting needs of each customer. Our expansion has been in line with the demands of our customers and we are looking forward to building on this success in the future.”
