National sales manager Pat O’Leary is putting years of experience into practice in his new role at ClickLitehouse.
Several years spent working in the electrical industry teaches you a thing or two. Having just taken up his new role at ClickLitehouse, Pat O’Leary has a wealth of experience to draw on as the company’s new National Sales Manager.
Pat has worked at ClickLitehouse for almost six years. His initial role was as Area Sales Manager; he was promoted to Key Account Manager about a year ago. A recent restructuring of the business has resulted in Pat being promoted to National Sales Manager, with responsibility for driving the business forward and ensuring the company benefits from the current buoyant market. The current changes at ClickLitehouse reflect a company that’s going from strength to strength.
“ClickLitehouse was established 10 years ago, in the midst of the recession, but despite that we’ve always experienced steady growth. I think that’s down to the company ethos which always puts the customer’s needs first. We’re a well respected company that only supplies the highest quality, tried and trusted brands on the market and because of that, our customers continue to come back to us, time and again.”
Pat says the current uplift in the market isn’t just good news for the company but for the sector as a whole.
“Our customers demand a high level of service and the most innovative, market leading products. With so many new projects coming on stream, our customers know they can rely on us to supply them with the best lighting products and wiring accessories for the job in a timely manner.”
Before joining ClickLitehouse, Pat worked as a Business Development Manager at both MK Honeywell and Hager. “I’ve been extremely lucky to work at some of the leading electrical companies in the country. Both roles at MK Honeywell and Hager were really good learning experiences for me – they helped me learn the business inside out and understand the chain of command process and how I would like to run that process if I ever got the chance. I now have the opportunity to put that into practice in my new role at ClickLitehouse.”
As ClickLitehouse continues to lead the way as one of the industry’s leading distributors and manufacturers, Pat’s role is set to get even busier. “We’re now in a position where we can add to the company and drive the business forward, which will make us even stronger. I expect my job to expand and get even busier but that will be a reflection of the company’s growth, which will only be a good thing.”
A six-year-old son keeps Pat and his wife on their toes and along with a few rounds of golf, Pat manages to relax outside of work. We both get so much enjoyment out of seeing Adam discover new things and enjoy life. That’s the best relaxation I could ask for!”
